And yes, there is a real place called Friendship in the US with a mere population of around 1100 souls. It made nearly 300 million at the box office, had two prequels, and an animated spin-off, reflecting the legacy of Casper. Casper, released in 1995, still captivates my heart as a timeless Hollywood classic, especially during Halloween. This 28-year-old movie is a masterpiece based on the Harvey Comics cartoon character, Casper the Friendly Ghost, created by Seymour Reit and Joe Oriolo.
